So over the three days I spent on the NSW-VIC border it was a pretty fun time, though I must admit after 3 days and 2 nights, I had had just about enough of driving and other stuff. The drive TO Echuca/Moama was actually pretty breezy and we got there in no time but the return journey? An eternity. Didn't help we got lost on GRAVEL road for like an hour dodging potholes and puddles of muddy water and bumpity bump along the way 'cos of the uneveness. SIGH. Was just about losing it and half hysterically laughing at what was transpiring till there was a KIND SOUL driving in a 4WD that I pretty pleased someone to have the courage to ask. LUCKILY led us the way out, if not we were heading in the absolute opposite direction. Once we were on course it was all good :)

I enjoyed the canoeing - though we were doing donuts in it really and treading water for a good 10 minutes or so - the TABOO/CHARADES, the Murray River lunch cruise, the sightseeing, the McDonalds, the camwhoring, but not so the Monopoly (where I was a no-hoper and bankrupted), the large crack on the window screen that I hope my parents will not kill me for, the dirtied car and the after-the-shower-into-the-bedroom-scene. It's a bit sad it's taken like 4 years for us unis to go on a roadtrip as such but come to think of it, we've only recently been close. First year had no real idea whose these people were so how things change...
