It's October 31st. Nearly November. Nearly the end of 2010! By the end of the year there are some important people leaving - they have all added something special to my life and I will be sad to see them go. In no particular order...
Hebin
I never really got to know you until about second year - my first impression was "that smart guy" haha but so true 'cos on scholarship and already has job set up! You are always there for a chat and I feel like I can talk to you about just about anything. I will miss the SAIGON times and the times I have to dodge around your head to see the lecturer. Plus frustrating times when we couldn't get the boat rowing! Have fun in Singapore and I will see you soon :)
Tara
Tara - we've shared some pretty awesome times, of course, Vanuatu is something I will never forget and thanks you came along! You're always there if we need to talk and laugh at my lame jokes! Thank you for teaching me snorkelling - it was so awesome finding Nemo! I think you are an amazingly strong person as well going through the tough times you have in recent years, and I definitely can learn from you! Not fair you'll be in Queensland!
Osler
To the Indonesian: you are a little, great buddy to have! In fact, you are one of the nicest guys I have ever met and are always there if need to talk about anything! You are also one cheeky bugger :P Ahem. What I will really miss (if you don't get your stupid green card extended) are those 903 times we had last year - those somewhat deep talks about life and stuff. I'll miss your jokes, laughter and IMMATURE pokes haha! And please don't get an American accent...
Li-Yen
Toronto-bound with a one-way ticket. Yen I'm going to miss you HEAPS! But I know that you have waited for this for an eternity so I am SO glad you have this opportunity finally to be reunited. Make the most of your time there and make whatever commitment you have to that you feel is right for yourself :) Will be waiting for the day you get back here
Jodie
There is no photo of us but I will make an effort to somehow get one with you by year's end! You have made clerical marking all that more exciting and half the reason why I turn up to work on Saturdays! I enjoy the times I can talk about physiotherapy because you are also a fellow allied health worker - OT FTW! I'm sure you will have a fun time in Queensland and I hope we can bump into each other someday...thanks for being a funny one the last year or so!

7 FEARS/PHOBIAS
i) Losing the people closest to me ii) Being struck by lightning iii) Suffering any kind of psychological disorder when older iv) Walking down Hosken St at night! v) Suffering a SCI and not being able to walk again vi) Fear of anacondas vii) Going skydiving and the parachute doesn't open...
1. People who treat me like FOB. End of story. 2. People who don't practise what they preach. Yeah. 3. Random telemarketing people calling from overseas grrr 4. When Miffy growls and doesn't want me to pat her :( 5. When people call me Su = worst <___< 6. When it's 10 mins before an exam and everyone's studying and keeps talking about stuff 7. Getting mouth ulcers 8. Water bottle runs out of water and can't immediately top-up
So here is the run-down from yesterday's epicness and DRAMA-rama. In morning, before last theory exam, home phone rang and it was my dad - apparently he had been in a car accident, but he was OK just that he wanted to know how to take photos on his phone...he was on High St which meant my mum & I were also heading down that path. We got there and saw him then my mum tried to turn in when she wasn't even in the left lane and nearly knocked down a cyclist - ARGHHH. Worst. So much abuse! Saw the car and looked fairly dented (and now it's off for repair & we get a dodge one lended off)!
Then arrived at Bouverie St and walked down for the last theory exam! Went to toilet then WHAT THERE'S MAN IN THE TOILET - did the whole double-take, but another physio girl came out of the toilet, so it was like HUH? Gave each other looks and lol'ed after! Relief didn't come straightaway after Paeds exam...bit anticlimatic hmm but it was still satisfying! Had lunch at Grill'd, mingled and got some Vitamin D! Then we wanted to karaoke but not opened yet, so went bowling instead for the first time in AGES! Fun fun & even had a cider :P Then three of them went gaming so I tagged along to watch then PHONE D-I-E-D = worst! Then met up with the Sarah Wong for continuation of epicness. Had C-O-O-K-I-E-S where Tempty was declared not gay. Lied down on Astro turf in nice weather. Big W shopping. EMPORIUM with the Li Chen, Passionflower, Sitting outside State Library in darkness, cyclist, impromptu strip show, XLB + ILTx3, riding the DART, SanFran peanut brittle and D&M in the RSL :) Loves.
i) When it's cold, I sleep with my dressing gown on
ii) I am an administrator for an AS forum
iii) I don't heal very well - I get keloids instead
iv) I used to nose bleed for hours at night/early morning when I was younger - that is why my room is closest to my parents because it was based upon the decision that if I had to wake up in the middle of the night when bleeding, I could then go quickly to my mum and get my nose pinched
v) I strongly believe the horizontal lines across my back are because my brother scratched me when I was younger and I am scarred. For life. Though he denies it and so do my parents.
vi) One car accident a few years back involved my dad forgetting to put the handbrake on whilst parking in someone's driveway. Everyone got out of the car except me then I realised the trees were moving (car was actually moving backwards). I decided to open the passenger door and do a Jackie Chan-style roll out of the moving car before it hit into the house opposite the road!
vii) I actually used to kick footy with my dad and pretend to play cricket in the backyard back in the day...
viii) In '06 when the Boxing Day tsunami hit, I was at the front of a little boat posing in front of the Merlion in Singapore then all of a sudden the boat rocked violently and was so close to capsizing!
ix) I think my hearing is NQR - had to do a hearing test when I was younger *clap when you hear a beep*

But only starts on Thursday as my reward for finishing ALL physiotherapy theory exams!! :D First two were a'ight! Brucey pen gets me through it (y)
Yesterday arrived 15 min late at uni after bus 201 totes didn't come so caught 302 then got off at Johnson St but of course, no bus either .________. Finally got one and when dropped off bus, was pelting with rain and windy and so drenched :P Final day of uni was kinda anti-climatic - I was expecting food and there was none :( Plus barely took any photos 'cos no one else was! I think part of the anti-climaticness was the fact that we barely spent any time in our building! First year was mostly in the Comm/Med buildings in the big lecture theatres, second year was half and half then last 2 years have been in hospitals! Having said that, I WILL miss our dodgey lecture theare, our receptionist lady who I give my wallet too 'cos can never get student card out in time, naked prac rooms, clean toilets, climbing four flights of stairs 'cos elevator so slow, our small comp lab and the little chutes we put our assignments through!
Then this morning drove to Kew for final 7am shift at MD Health. Was so over it already. Was surprised to see a certain mouse also working there :P Ok so I feel relieved placements are all over and that so just need to get over the next 2/3 wks!! Excited and paranoid at the same time - especially 60% clinical exam =/
P.S. APA Job Show took 2hrs to get to and I spent more time commuting than being there - ugh! Love freebies - TAPE & FISIOCREAM WIN! :) And Eastern Health.
There's not enough good news these days, so to have news of successfully getting these 33 miners from 600+ m underground after 69 days is amazing! I love how they all have different profiles from a 19 yr old who had started not long ago to the 63 yr old man who has worked in mines since 12, plus the dude who has a mistress and another whose wife & mother are arguing about the $$$! Such emotional reunions!
My dad and I were discussing the benefits of the ordering - we'd rather be first or last because obviously being out first, you get a hug from the President and attention ++. Last person would get a huge cheer too lol but people in between might not get much love :(
Anyway, ONE MORE DAY of placement (on Sat 7-2)! APA Job Show tomorrow 5-7, last day of uni Fri 9-12 then swotvac next week. Gotta get studying!!
Congrats SKIPPY! I'm so pumped! :D Always been a fave of mine (Y)

I made a boys team mixed. I was somewhat black after a month in Vanuatu. I have a grey rabbit. I enjoy cycling, facebook and snacks.
I really want to see the Hounslow Harriets. I currently drive a Honda Civic named Taz. I like smiles and laughter.
