This week made me feel somewhat old. First of all, there were 2nd years having their one week block at Repat. Then there was WORK EXPERIENCE year-10 girl, but I swear she was 25 - sheesh! It made me think about how far I've come in two years - I still remember looking in awe of these fourth years and not knowing if I could do it myself. It was kinda nice to just strut around the ward knowing what I was doing whilst the 2nd years stared at me - mwahahaha. Plus the Asian 2nd year was asking me questions heehee. It also got me thinking, where were you in year 10 and what did you do for work experience? My answer: I was at MAYNE Pathology (now defunct) = WORST! Making labels and umm that's about it. I don't think I was thinking physio at that time at all...I didn't think 6 years down the track I'd be a nearly qualified PT - how quickly it changes! Year 10 was the time of MRS. WONG and all things accelerated maths. It was also the time of being ditched and trying to fit in a group of friends I did not fit with. MEH. Thank goodness for accelerated maths :) So, what are your work experience/yr 10 stories? :p
